Historical Model Data Files
Historical weather data for US and Canadian cities dating as far back as the 1940s.If you only need historical data periodically, our basic historical data only subscription may fulfill your needs. All of the site specific and composite data files on this page are updated once per month, usually on or around the 7th. Hourly and daily data has undergone extensive cleaning and filling procedures. Most sites are free of missing data, and most errors have been corrected. Historical data is updated with the quality controlled data from NCDC each month, and then with the final edited versions of the data (where available) a few months later. If you notice any questionable or erroneous data, please contact us.

Historical Model Forecast Average U.S. Population Weighted Temperature Anomalies
These files contain historical U.S. population weighted model average temperature anomalies. All anomalies are relative to the 30 year average (1981-2010). These files contain dates and times with each record being the forecast temperature anomalies (for daily or period) at that day and time.
Additional City Specific Historical Forecast Data Files (Adjusted model output, NWS and FW forecasts)
These data files contain historical forecast information from a variety of sources included GFS and GFS ensemble model output statistics, the National Weather Service, as well as our own forecasts. Note that data files generally only contain forecasts produced on Mon-Fri, though some Sundays are also included. Some data goes back as far as January 2010 but is only for U.S. forecast locations.
